Pacific Ring of Fire atau biasa disebut Ring of Fire (Cincin Api) adalah zona dimana terdapat banyak aktifitas seismik. Zona yang berbentuk seperti tapal kuda ini terdiri dari busur vulkanik dan parit-parit (palung) didasar laut, memiliki panjang lebih dari 40000 km memanjang dari barat daya Amerika Selatan dibagian timur hingga ke sebelah tenggara benua Australia di sebelah barat. Pada zona yang disebut Cincin Api inilah banyak terjadi gempa dan letusan gunung berapi. Sekitar 90% dari gempa bumi yang terjadi dan 81% dari gempa bumi terbesar terjadi di sepanjang Cincin Api ini.

Ring of FirePacific Ring of Fire or commonly called Ring of Fire (ring of fire) is a zone where there is a lot of seismic activity. Zone that is shaped like a Horseshoe is composed of volcanic arcs and ditches (trenches) didasar the sea, has a length of more than 40000 km stretching from the southwest of South America in the East to the South-East of the continent of Australia in the West. On the so-called ring of fire zones this is a lot of earthquake and volcanic eruption. About 90% of earthquakes occur and 81% of the largest earthquakes occur along the ring of fire.
