Dari aspek ketenagakerjaan, sejumlah pimpinan asosiasi profesi mengaku cukup optimis bahwa tenaga kerja ahli di indonesia mampu bersaing di AEC. Dilihat dari sisi pendidikan dan produktivitas indonesia masih kalah bersaing dengan tenaga kerja singapura, malaysia, dan thailand. Indonesia harus berbenah untuk memperbaiki di semua yang ada, jika tidak ingin menjadi sekedar pelengkap di AEC 2015.
