Sebelum meminta mereka membaca dan memberikan feedback untuk tulisan temannya. Guru hendaknya menjelaskan terlebih dahulu apa saja yang ada dalam revising checklist. Jika diperlukan guru bisa memberikan contoh dengan menggunakan teks dari paragraph acak yang telah mereka susun sebelumnya. Hal ini hanya dibutuhkan ketika pertama kali menerapkan strategy ini. Dengan menggunakan revising sheet (lihat lampiran 2) mereka dapat memulai untuk membaca draft milik temannya.dan mengisi jawaban Ya/Tidak pada kolom yang tersedia.
Langkah 6: Diskusi
Suruh mereka berdiskusi tentang saran dan catatan yang telah mereka dapatkan dari temannya. Diskusi ini bertujuan agar siswa saling bertukar saran dan belajar bersama.
