Pertama di Jatim- Bupati Pasuruan Resmikan Program SMS Bunda

- Pertama kalinya di Jawa Timur, Program SMS Bunda diluncurkan di Kabupaten Pasuruan.

Peluncuran program SMS Bunda tersebut dilaksanakan di Lapangan Taman Dayu City of Festival Pandaan, Sabtu (22/11) pagi, di mana Bupati Pasuruan, HM Irsyad Yusuf sendiri yang meresmikan SMS Bunda.

program SMS Bunda berlaku untuk ibu hamil dan baru melahirkan (nifas) di semua wilayah se-Kabupaten Pasuruan, bebas bertanya seputar kesehatan ibu hamil hingga prosedur menjelang persiapan kelahiran sang jabang bayi.

“ Rekan-rekan dari Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Pasuruan akan membekali ibu dengan pengetahuan kehamilan dan nifas, perilaku hidup bersih sehat dan tanda-tanda bahaya, sesuai dengan usia kehamilan atau usia bayi. Yakni, dari trimester pertama hingga 42 hari setelah melahirkan,” ujar Irsyad dalam sambutannya.

Selain itu, SMS Bunda diberlakukan untuk semua operator pengguna Mobile Phone (HP), dan tanpa dipungut biaya.,Bupati Irsyad mendorong semua ibu-ibu hamil yang akan melahirkan, untuk memanfaatkan layanan tersebut.
Sementara itu, SMS Bunda juga diharapkan akan menurunkan angka kematian ibu saat melahirkan serta menurunkan angka kematian bayi setelah lahir. Drg Loembini Pedjati Lajoeng, Kepala Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Pasuruan menambahkan, pihaknya akan terus menyukseskan program SMS Bunda, terlebih dalam menekan angka kematian ibu dan anak guna mewujudkan generasi emas Kabupaten Pasuruan.
