ABSTRAK
Penelitian bertujuan menjelaskan kinerja pemberian pasak bumi (Eurycoma longifolia Jack) enam hari pada kadar testosteron kambing pejantan PE. Metode yang dilakukan yaitu: Kelompok 1: Kontrol dilakukan pemberian 20 ml aquades peroral setiap pagi pukul 9.00 wib selama tiga (3) hari, dilanjutkan sampai enam hari. Kelompok 2: Kelompok pemberian dosis seduhan pasak bumi 90 mg/kg bb pejantan PE dalam 20 ml aquades peroral setiap pagi pukul 9.00 wib selama tiga (3) hari, dilanjutkan sampai enam hari. Metode pengukuran testosteron pada hari ke-1, ke-3, dan ke-6 menggunakan metode Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Hasil penelitian: Kadar testosteron yang terjadi pada perlakuan pasak bumi meningkat dari hari ke-1 yaitu 9,36ng/ml sampai hari ke-6 yaitu 12,43ng/ml secara statistik berbeda nyata. Disimpulkan pemberian pasak bumi dosis 90 mg/kg bb dalam 20 ml aquades sampai hari ke-6, meningkatkan kadar hormon testosteron kambing jantan PE.
