1. Wawancara mendalam
Wawancara adalah percakapan antara periset-seseorang yang berharap mendapatkan infornasi dan informan seseorang yang diasumsikan mempunyai informasi penting tentang suatu objek (Berger dalam Kriyantono, 2005: 96). Penggalian fakta-fakta di lapangan akan dilakukan dengan wawancara yang tidak terstruktur atau wawancara mendalam (in-depth interview), karena dalam penelitian ini informan merupakan orang yang dipilih dengan criteria tertentu. Penggunaan metode wawancara mendalam menurut Kriyantono (2007: 98) adalah sebagai berikut:
