Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah penumpang bus TransJakarta pada koridor 1 sejumlah 62.747 penumpang di bulan Juli di tahun terakhir pengumpulan data yaitu tahun 2016, dengan sampel sebanyak 155 responden. Metode analisis data menggunakan metode Importance Performance Analysis. Hasil penelitian diperoleh pelayanan keselamatan belum memadai. Dengan ditemukan prioritas utama pelayanan yang kurang memadai pada perilaku pramudi saat mengendarai kendaraannya, Kejelasan dalam memberikan informasi cara penggunaan alat tanggap darurat APAR dan pemecah kaca, Peletakkan APAR yang ada di dalam bus dan Informasi kebijakan perusahaan mengenai keselamatan konsumen. Dalam penanganannya perlunya selektif dalam merekrut pramudi dan perlunya pembuatan peraturan – peraturan bagi pramudi saat bertugas, pemberiaan stiker informasi cara penggunaan alat tanggap darurat khususnya pemecah kaca dan APAR dengan jelas dan mudah, meletakkan APAR di dalam bus berdekatan dengan petugas, dan PT TransJakarta membuat Visi dan Misi perusahaan dengan memberikan aspek keselamatan dan diletakkan di halte maupun dalam bus.
