ABSTRAK

Diit merupakan obat utama yang dapat menekan timbulnya diabetes melitus laten dan dapat menekan manifestasi komplikasi akut maupun kronis. Oleh karena itu pengetahuan pasien diabetes melitus tentang diit harus benar-benar diperhatikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengetahuan pasien diabetes melitus tentang diit diabetes melitus di Puskesmas Ngantru.

Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskritif. Populasinya 83 pasien diabetes melitus yang terdaftar di Puskesmas Ngantru. Sampling yang digunakan purposive sampling dengan sampel pasien diabetes melitus yang berobat di Puskesmas Ngantru yang sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi. Sampel diambil 30 orang, instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quesioner dengan jumlah 20 soal, dan setiap jawaban yang benar diberikan skor 1 dan yang salah diberikan skor 0. Waktu penelitian tanggal 3 – 9 februari 2014.

Kemudian hasil jawaban benar dibagi jumlah maksimal dikali 100% hasil berupa prosentase. Dengan. Kemudian hasilnya dimasukkan dalam kriteria standart penilaian dan dapat dikategorikan sebagai berikut: 76 - 100% Kategori pengetahuan baik, 56 – 75% Kategori pengetahuan cukup, < 56% Kategori pengetahuan kurang Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa pengetahuan pasien diabetes melitus tentang diit diabetes melitus 14 responden dengan rata – rata 46,6% kategori cukup.

Dari hasil diatas maka menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan pasien diabetes melitus tentang diit diabetes melitus dengan kategori cukup sehingga diharapkan petugas puskesmas dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dengan mengadakan penyuluhan kesehatan.

Therefore knowledge of diabetes mellitus patients of diit have to really watch out for. The purpose of this research is to know the patient's knowledge about diabetes mellitus diabetes mellitus in diit Clinics Ngantru.

The research method used is the deskritif method. Population of 83 patients with diabetes mellitus are listed in the health Ngantru. Sampling purposive sampling are used with a sample of patients who seek treatment in diabetes mellitus Clinics Ngantru in accordance with the criteria of inclusion. Samples taken 30 people, instruments used in this research was quesioner with a total of 20 items, and each correct answer was given a score of 1 and false is given a score of 0.
