Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi pentingnya siswa dalam memiliki sikap kontrol diri terhadap penggunaan telepon genggam yang berpengaruh pada interaksi sosial terhadap lingkunganya, baik lingkungan internal (keluarga) maupun eksternal (lingkungan sekolah dan pertemanan). Kurangnya interaksi sosial akan menghambat pembentukan kepribadian dan aktualisasi diri dalam kehidupan.
Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian true experimental dengan model True Eksperiment Pre-test Post-test Control Group Design. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X dan XI jurusan tata boga dengan jumlah 120 siswa. Kelas X Boga 1 adalah kelas yang dipergunakan untuk try out. Sampel yang diambil adalah 29 siswa dengan menggunakan teknik Cluster Random Sampling dengan menggunakan sampel strata. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui instrument penelitian skala yang merupakan modifikasi dari Mobile Phone Problem Use Scale (MPPUS) dari Bianchi dan Phillips (2005), dengan empat alternative jawaban. Analisis yang digunakan untuk menguji validitas instrument adalah korelasi antara butir dan skor yang dikerjakan dengan korelasi Product Moment sedangkan untuk menguji reliabilitas adalah rumus Alpha dari Cronbach. Dan hipotesis penelitian dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan sign test wilcoxon dengan taraf signifikan 5%.
Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa hasil rata-rata pre-test sebesar 49 untuk kelompok eksperimen dan 47,1 untuk kelompok kontrol. Hasil rata-rata post-test sebesar 40,8 untuk kelompok eksperimen dan 46,6 untuk kelompok kontrol. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya penurunan kecenderungan perilaku nomophobia . Hasil analisis data dengan sign test wilcoxon kelompok eksperimen diperoleh nilai dengan taraf signifikan 5%, sehingga Thitung>Ttabe lyaitu 68>14. Sedangkan hasil analisis data dengan sign test wilcoxon kelompok kontrol diperoleh nilai dengan taraf signifikan 5%, sehingga Thitung>Ttabel yaitu 45>35. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa “ada pengaruh layanan bimbingan kelompok teknik diskusi terhadap kecenderungan perilaku nomophobia pada siswa kelas XI Boga 1 Smk Ibu Kartini Semarang” dapat diterima kebenarannya.
Saran dari peneliti kepada guru pembimbing hendaknya perlu memprogramkan secara optimal layanan bimbingan dan konseling serta mampu memberikan materi khususnya yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa, sehingga tujuan pemberian layanan dapat tercapai dan terlaksanan dengan baik.

The lack of social interaction will inhibit the formation of personality and self-actualization in life.Type of this research is quantitative research with research methods to true experimental model with True alphabets experiment Pre test Post test Control Group Design. The population used in this study are grade the X and XI majoring boga with number of 120 students. The X class was a class of Boga 1 used to try out. Samples taken is 29 students using Cluster Random Sampling by using sample strata. The data in this study were obtained through a research instrument scale is a modification of the Mobile Phone Problem Use Scale (MPPUS) from Bianchi and Phillips (2005), with four alternative answers. The analysis used to test the validity of the instrument is the correlation between grain and score are worked out with the Product Moment correlation while reliability is to test the formula Alpha from Cronbach. And the research hypothesis by using descriptive analysis and wilcoxon sign test with a significant level of 5%.Based on the results of the analysis of the data indicates that the average results of pre-test of 49 for experimentation and 47.1 to the control group. Results the average post-test of 40.8 to 46.6 experiments and group for the control group. This shows that the existence of the downturn trend of the behavior of nomophobia. The results of data analysis with the wilcoxon sign test experimental group obtained value by a significant level of 5%, so that Thitung > Ttabe lyaitu > 68 14. While the results of the analysis of the data with the wilcoxon sign test control group gained value by a significant level of 5%, so that Thitung > Ttabel > i.e. 45 35. Thus it can be concluded that "there is the influence of the tutoring service group discussion techniques against the tendency of nomophobia behavior in students of Class XI Boga 1 Smk Kartini Semarang Mother" can be accepted. Advice from researchers to the teacher supervisor should need to program an optimal guidance and counselling services as well as able to provide the material specifically to suit the needs of students, so that the aim of granting the service can be reached and terlaksanan well.Keywords: tutoring service group with discussion techniques, behavior of Nomophobia
