Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar fisika peserta didik yang diajar melalui pendekatan konstruktivisme dan yang diajar dengan pendekatan konvensional, serta perbedaan yang signifikan antara peserta didik yang diajar dengan pendekatan konstruktivisme dan peserta didik yang diajar dengan menggunakan pendekatan konvensional di kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Bangkala Kabupaten tahun ajaran 2013/2014. penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen sesungguhnya dengan menggunakan desain Posstest Only Control Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Bangkala Kabupaten Jeneponto tahun ajaran 2013/2014 dan sampel dipilih secara random. Pengolahan data hasil penelitian ini menggunakan dua teknik statistik, yaitu teknik analisis deskriptif untuk menggambarkan karakteristik hasil belajar fisika peserta didik dan teknik analisis inferensial untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Berdasarkan analisis deskriptif didapatkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar fisika peserta didik yang diajar dengan menggunakan pendekatan konstruktivisme adalah sebesar 14,52 dengan standar deviasinya 3,38 sedangkan skor rata-rata hasil belajar fisika yang diajar dengan pendekatan konvensional adalah sebesar 11,94 dan standar deviasinya 3,61. Hasil analisis inferensial menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar fisika yang signifikan antara peserta didik yang diajar dengan pendekatan konstruktivisme dan peserta didik yang diajar dengan menggunakan pendekatan konvensional pada taraf nyata α = 0,05.

This study aims to determine the learning outcomes of students who were taught physics through a constructivist approach and taught by the conventional approach,as well as a significant difference between students who are taught by a constructivist approach and students are taught using the conventional approach in class x sma 1 Bangkala country district school year 2013/2014. This research is a type of true experimental research design using posstest only control design.population in this study was student class 1 x sma country Bangkala Jeneponto academic year 2013/2014 and a randomly selected sample. data processing results of this study using two statistical techniques, namely descriptive analysis to describe the physical characteristics of the learning outcomes of students and inferential analysis techniques to test the research hypothesis.based on descriptive analysis found that the average physics student learning outcomes are taught using a constructivist approach is at 14.52 with a standard deviation of 3.38 while the average score of physics learning outcomes are taught with the conventional approach is at 11.94 and the standard deviation of 3.61.inferential analysis results indicate that there are differences in learning outcomes between the significant physics students are taught with constructivist approaches and students are taught using the conventional approach on the real level α = 0.05.
