Melemang dance is a traditional dance that actually comes from the land of the Tanjungpisau Acacia, Bintan Bentan Sultanate, Kep. Riau in the 12th century. At that time the dance is only performed in front of the Royal family Bentan Sultanate only and performed by the maidens of the Kingdom.
