BARCELONA, KOMPAS.com - Valentino Rossi dan seluruh timnya berharap cuaca di Sirkuit de Barcelona pada Sabtu (13/6/2015) akan cerah sehingga sesi latihan bebas ketiga GP Catalunya akan berjalan normal di lintasan kering.


Dari dua hasil sesi latihan bebas pada hari pertama, Sabtu (12/6/2015), Rossi hanya bisa berada di urutan ke-11 tercepat. Jika hujan turun pada Sabtu pagi, hasil terakhir sesi latihan pada Jumat akan jadi acuan penentuan sesi kualiikasi.

"Banyak pebalap memacu motornya dengan sangat kencang karena prediksi cuaca tidak 100 persen positif untuk besok," kata Rossi. "Saya khawatir karena saya tidak berada di 10 besar. Semoga besok kondisinya akan bagus dan saya bisa memperbaiki posisi, masuk 10 besar."

Rossi tentu saja tidak ingin mengalami apa yang terjadi pada Marc Marquez di Sirkuit Mugello, Italia, dua pekan lalu. Gagal masuk 10 besar akumulai sesi latihan bebas pertama hingga ketiga, Marquez harus turun pada kualifikasi pertama.

Sayangnya, pada sesi tesebut, Marquez gagal masuk dua besar yang berarti tidak bisa turun pada sesi kualifikasi kedua. Marquez memulai balapan dari posisi start ke-13.

Rossi juga harus bersiap dengan serangan Ducati dan Suzuki pada sesi kualifikasi. Kedua pabrikan tersebut punya keuntungan bisa mamakai ban lebih lunak dibanding Yamaha dan Honda.

"Sudah pasti besok akan sangat, sangat sulit bagi saya untuk mendapatkan tempat start yang bagus. Rossi juga yakin bahwa Marquez dan Dani Pedrosa dari tim Repsol Honda punya kecepatan lebih bagus untuk satu putaran, dibanding Yamaha.
