Bagi pemeluk agama Hindu Bali sangat percaya bahwa pura ini merupakan miniatur Pura Tanah Lot di Bali yang juga dibangun atas batu karang. Di lokasi pura diatas batu karang yang menjorok ke laut ini jika cuaca cerah bisa melihat gunung Agung di pulau Bali, serta bagus untuk melihat pemandangan saat sunset. Deburan ombak dan bunyi percikan air laut yang menerobos melalui sela-sela batu karang yang berlubang melengkapi indahnya pemandangan disekitarnya.
