Banyaknya persepsi masyarakat yang menganggap bahwa kurikulum 2013 tidak memenuhi standar kelayakan kurikulum yang seharusnya diterapkan di sistem pendidikan di Indonesia. Persepsi masyarakat tersebut secara tidak langsung dipengaruhi oleh kinerja aplikasi kurikulum 2013 yang sedang dilaksanakan, dapat dilihat dari pemberitaan di berbagai media massa dimana banyak berita bernada negatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan wawancara sebagai tekni pengumpulan data. Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan memberikan pengetahuan kepada publik di televisi dan radio melalui sumber yang kredibel. Pengetahuan yang diberikan kepada publik adalah semua kegiatan yang dilakukan Kemdikbud dalam persiapan kurikulum 2013 dan pengetahuan ini diberikan kepada publik melalui media elektronik lewat talkshow dan iklan layanan masyarakat, baik di televisi maupun di radio. Kemudian, melalui tv spot dan radio spot, kemudian juga melalui edutainment. Peneliti mengharapkan agar penelitian ini dapat menjadi panduan bagi mahasiswa yang akan melakukan penelitian serupa atau melakukan penelitian lanjutan yang membahas secara lebih mendalam mengenai Strategi Komunikasi Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia dalam Membangun Opini Publik di Media Elektronik terhadap Kurikulum 2013. Rekomendasi selanjutnya yang dapat diberikan ialah agar penelitian ini dapat berguna bagi Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia dalam hal peningkatan hubungan baik dengan publik, baik publik secara umum maupun publik yang terkait dengan bidang pendidikan dan kualitas layanan publik agar kemudahan dalam mendapatkan informasi didapatkan oleh semua kalangan.
