Informan pada rumah tangga PKH transisi dan graduasi sebanyak 45% mengaku sebagai ibu rumah tangga dan 55% bekerja. Jenis pekerjaan yang banyak dilakukan oleh rumah tangga transisi berturut-turut adalah sebagai buruh tani, pedagang kecil dan petani. Sedangkan pada rumah tangga graduasi paling banyak yang bekerja sebagai pedagang kecil. Sementara itu pekerjaan suami/kepala rumah tangga juga sebagian besar bekerja pada sektor informal. Terdapat empat (4) jenis pekerjaan utama suami informan yaitu buruh tani, buruh/tukang bangunan, nelayan dan petani. Sebagian besar pekerjaan yang dilakukan oleh suami informan rumah tangga transisi berturut-turut adalah buruh tani, nelayan, petani dan pedagang kecil, sedangkan bagi rumah tangga graduasi berturut-turut adalah buruh/tukang bangunan, nelayan, tukang ojek/becak, dan petani.
