BAB I
PENDAHULUAN
Sastra adalah suatu kegiatan kreatif dan sebuah karya seni (Wellek dan Warren, 1993:3). Sastra adalah ungkapan pribadi manusia yang berupa pengalaman, pemikiran, perasaan, ide, semangat, dan keyakinan dalam suatu bentuk gambaran kongkret yang membangkitkan pesona dengan alat bahasa (Sumardjo dan Saini, 1988:3). Sastra memiliki produk berupa karya sastra. Salah satu produk karya sastra adalah cerpen. Cerpen adalah cerita berbentuk prosa yang relatif pendek. “Aṭ-Ṭājin Waṣala..!” adalah cepen yang bercerita tentang kehidupan manusia yang dihadapkan pada masalah makanan. Mereka menganggap urusan makanan lebih penting dari pada pekerjaanya. Setiap kali mereka bekerja, mereka selalu memikirkan makanan.
Robert Stanton (2012:11) membagi unsur intrinsik fiksi menjadi tiga bagian yaitu: fakta cerita, sarana cerita, dan tema. Fakta cerita terbagi menjadi tiga, yaitu alur, karakter, dan latar. Ketiganya merupakan unsur-unsur yang saling berkaitan antara yang satu dengan yang lain dalam membentuk makna. Satu unsur dengan yang lainnya tidak dapat berdiri sendiri.
Masalah yang akan diteliti dalam penelitian ini adalah unsur-unsur intrinsik yang terdapat dalam cerpen “Aṭ-Ṭājin Waṣala..!” karya Taufīq al-Ḥakīm serta bagaimanakah keterkaitan anatarunsurnya. Adapun tujuan adalah untuk mengungkapkan dan mendiskripsikan unsur-unsur intrinsik dalam cerpen “Aṭ-Ṭājin Waṣala..!” serta keterkaitan antarunsur yang ada dalam cerpen ini.
Cerpen “Aṭ-Ṭajin Waṣala” karya Taufīq al-Ḥakīm ini belum pernah dilakukan oleh mahasiswa di Universitas manapun di Indonesia yang menyelenggarakan program Bahasa dan Sastra Arab.
Fakta cerita terbagi menjadi tiga, yaitu alur, karakter, dan latar. Fakta cerita terbagi menjadi tiga, yaitu alur, karakter, dan latar. Alur merupakan rangkaian peristiwa dalam sebuah cerita yang terhubung secara kausal (Stanton, 2012:26). Karakter merujuk pada individu-individu yang muncul dalam cerita (Stanton, 2012: 33). Latar merupakan lingkungan yang melingkupi sebuah peristiwa dalam cerita (Stanton, 2012:35). Latar terbagi menjadi tiga, yaitu: latar tempat, latar waktu, dan latar sosial.
Sarana sastra dapat diartikan sebagai metode pengarang memilih dan menyusun detail cerita agar tercapai pola-pola yang bermakna. Dalam penelitian ini penulis hanya memusatkan perhatian pada unsur judul, sudut pandang, dan ironi sebagai unsur yang berpengaruh dalam menentukan tema. Stanton (2012:51-52) menyatakan judul berhubungan dengan cerita secara keseluruhan. Sudut pandang merupakan posisi pusat seorang pembaca memahami peristiwa-peritiwa dalam cerita (Stanton, 2012:53). Ironi merupakan cara untuk menunjukkan sesuatu berlawanan dengan sesuatu yang sudah ada sebelumnya (Stanton, 2012:71). Tema merupakan aspek yang sejajar dengan ‘makna’ dalam pengalaman manusia (Stanton, 2012:37).
Sistematika penulisan pada penelitian terbagi menjadi empat bab. Adapun sistematika penulisannya adalah sebagai berikut. Bab I merupakan pendahuluan yang berisi latar belakang masalah, rumusan masalah, tujuan penelitian, tinjauan pustaka, landasan teori, metode penelitian, sistematika penulisan dan pedoman transliterasi Arab-Latin. Bab II memuat biografi Taufīq al-Ḥakīm dan sinopsis cerpen “Aṭ-Ṭājin Waṣala..!”. Bab III analisis struktural cerpen “Aṭ-Ṭājin Waṣala..!” yang berisi unsur-unsur intrinsik dan keterkaitan antarunsur-unsurnya. Adapun bab IV kesimpulan dari analisis yang telah dilakukan serta diikuti oleh daftar pustaka dan ringkasan dalam bahasa Arab.
BAB II
BIOGRAFI PENGARANG DAN SINOPSIS CERPEN “AṬ-ṬĀJIN WAṢALA..!”
2.1 Biografi Pengarang
Taufīq al-Ḥakīm dilahirkan tahun 1898 di Iskandariyah, Mesir. Ayahnya keturunan arab Mesir dan Ibunya keturunan Turki. Orang tua Taufīq al-Ḥakīm termasuk keluarga petani kaya. Ayahnya bekerja sebagai hakim. (www.Geocities.com/penerbit_navilla/profil/Taufik_Hakim.htm).
Lulus dari sekolah menengah, Taufīq al-Ḥakīm melanjutkan kuliah di Sekolah Tinggi Hukum. Sementara bakat seni dan sastranya mulia bangkit, kemudian beliau bergabung dengan para seniman muda sebayanya, seperti di antaranya Maḥmūd Taimur.
Pada tahun 1922, Taufīq menyusun beberapa naskah lakon (skenario drama) yang dipentaskan dalam oleh grup teater Ukasyah di gedung teater Al-Azbekiyah (Atho’illah, 2007: 145).
Karya-karya Taufīq al-Ḥakīm di antaranya: Ahlu al-Kahf (novel-1933), ‘Audat ar-Rūh (novel-1933), Syahrazād (novel-1934), Usfūr min asy-Syarq (novel-1938), Ahlul-Fan (kumpulan dari: tiga fragmen naskah lakon, sebuah cerpen komendi, dan dua cerpen), Al-Qaṣrul-Maṣur (novel bersama Ṭaha Ḥusain-1936), Muhammad (biografi nabi Muhammad ṣalallāhu ‘alaihi wasallam dalam bentuk cerita-1936), ‘Abdusy-syaiṭān (kumpulan cerpen-cerpen sosial-1938), Sulaimānul-Ḥakim (naskah lakon), Al-Malik Ūdib (novel-1949). Sebagian karyanya telah diterjemahkan ke dalam bahasa Perancis, Inggris, Rusia, dan Spanyol (Syafiq, 1967: 559).
2.2 Sinopsis
Cerita ini bermula ketika Jaksa dan kedua temannya yang bernama Hakim al-Bandar dan Hakim Ῑtāy al-Bārūd tinggal di Damanhūr. Kehidupan mereka selalu disibukkan dengan urusan makanan. Mereka menganggap makanan lebih penting dari pada pekerjaanya.
Ketika berada di pengadilan mereka selalu memikirkan makanan. Hakim Ῑtāy al-Bārūd selalu pulang lebih awal agar mendapat daging panggang sehingga Hakim al-Bandar dan Jaksa resah ketika melakukan persidangan.
Ketika Hakim al-Bandar dan Jaksa menangani sebuah kasus seorang Tersangka dan dia seorang pembuat nampan tembaga, keduanya mengalihkan persidangan dengan membahas nampan tembaga sampai keduanya mendapatkan yang diinginkannya.
BAB III
ANALISIS STRUKTURAL CERPEN “AṬ-ṬĀJIN WAṢALA..!”
Pada bab ini akan dijelaskan unsur-unsur intrinsik “Aṭ-Ṭājin Waṣala..!”. Penelitian ini dimulai dari pembahasan unsur-unsur intrinsik yaitu pada fakta cerita, tema, dan sarana sastra berupa judul dan sudut pandang pengarang serta keterkaitan antarusurnya. Fakta cerita terdiri dari alur, karakter dan latar.
Pada cerpen ini tokoh utama adalah Hakim al-Bandar. Tokoh tambahan yaitu Jaksa, Hakim Ῑtāy al-Bārūd, Pengatur Sidang, Tersangka dan Pengacara.
Tahap penyituasian ini diawali dengan pengenalan tokoh Jaksa dan kedua temannya yang bernama Hakim al-Bandar dan Hakim Ῑtāy al-Bārūd yang selalu menyibukkan diri dengan urusan makanan. Tahap pemunculan konflik dimulai ketika ketika Hakim al-Bandar dan Hakim Ῑtāy al-Bārūd dan Jaksa semakin lama kehilangan ciata rasa makanan dan ingin membeli nampan tembaga untuk mendapatkan makanan yang lebih lezat. Tahap peningkatan konflik ditandai dengan Hakim al-Bandar, Hakim Ῑtāy al-Bārūd dan Jaksa ingin membeli nampan tembaga, tetapi mereka tidak memiliki uang yang cukup. Tahap klimaks ditandai dengan ketika Hakim al-Bandar dan Jaksa mengalihkan persidangan kasus pelanggaran hukum seorang Tersangka dengan membahas nampan tembaga. Tahap penyelesaian ditandai dengan Hakim al-Bandar dan Jaksa sepakat membeli nampan tembaga.
Latar tempat yaitu di kota Damanhūr, Mesir. Detailnya di rumah makan dan persidangan. Latar waktu yaitu siang hari, diambil dari salah satu peristiwa katika para tokoh sedang bekerja di pengadilan. Latar sosial yaitu sebuah masyarakat kota Damanhūr yang berada di tingkat ekonomi yang bawah.
Tema yang terkandung di dalam cerpen “Aṭ-Ṭājin Waṣala..!” adalah terpenuhinya kebutuhan pokok seseorang berpengaruh terhadap kinerjanya.
Cerpen yang berjudul “Aṭ-Ṭājin Waṣala..!” diterjemahkan ke Bahasa Indonesia dengan “Gerabah Telah Tiba..!”. Judul ini mengacu kepada keadaan para tokoh yang selalu menyibukkan diri dengan urusan makanan sehingga urusan makanan menjadi lebih penting daripada pekerjaannya.
Sudut pandang yang dipakai dalam cerpen “Aṭ-Ṭājin Waṣala..!” adalah orang pertama-sampingan. Ironi dalam cerpen “Aṭ-Ṭājin Waṣala..!” adalah profesi sebagai hakim yang pada umumnya memiliki gaji yang besar dan membuatnya mampu apa yang ia mau, ternyata tidak mampu seketika membeli nampan tembaga dengan harga yang mahal.
Tema cerpen “Aṭ-Ṭājin Waṣala..!” memiliki keterkaitan erat dengan karakter para tokoh, judul, alur, judul cerpen, dan ironi. Tema cerpen “Aṭ-Ṭājin Waṣala..!” berkaitan dengan karakter para tokoh yang tidak profesional karena selalu menyibukkan diri dengan urusan makanan. Tema cepen “Aṭ-Ṭājin Waṣala..!” berkaitan dengan alur cerpen “Aṭ-Ṭājin Waṣala..!” yang menunjukkan urusan pemenuhan kebutuhan makanan pokok terbukti ada pada setiap tahap. Tema cepen “Aṭ-Ṭājin Waṣala..!” berkaitan dengan judul cerpen “Aṭ-Ṭājin Waṣala..!” yang diterjemahkan ke Bahasa Indonesia dengan “Gerabah Telah Tiba..!” karena para tokoh selalu menyibukkan diri dengan gerabah yang berisi makanan. Tema cepen “Aṭ-Ṭājin Waṣala..!” berkaitan dengan ironi cerpen “Aṭ-Ṭājin Waṣala..!” yang menggambarkan kehidupan para tokoh yang berprofesi sebagai hakim, namun tidak mampu memenuhi kebutuhan pokoknya terutama urusan makanan.
BAB IV
KESIMPULAN
Setelah dianalisis cerpen “Aṭ-Ṭājin Waṣala..!” terdapat katerkaitan antara tema dengan karakter para tokoh, tema dengan alur, tema dengan judul, dan tema dengan ironi sehingga saling keterkaitan antara satu unsur dengan yang lain menghasilkan makna yang utuh.

When Judge al-Bandar and the Attorney handling a case a suspect and he was a maker of copper tray, both of whom turn their proceedings by discussing copper trays until they both get it wants.CHAPTER IIISTRUCTURAL ANALYSIS OF SHORT STORIES "ṬĀJIN AṬ-WAṢALA ..!" This chapter will describe the intrinsic elements of "Aṭ-Ṭājin Waṣala ..!". This research starts from the discussion of the intrinsic elements in fact stories, themes, and great literature in the form of the title and the author's point of view as well as the linkages antarusurnya. The fact the story consists of plot, character and setting. In this short story the main character is Judge al-Bandar. An extra figure, namely prosecutors, Judge Ῑtāy al-Bārūd, Manager of the hearing, the suspect and the lawyer. Penyituasian stage begins with the introduction of the character of the Prosecutor and the second friend named Judge and a judge Bandar al-Ῑtāy al-Bārūd who was always fussing with food. The title refers to the circumstances of the deaths always fussing with the food so that the Affairs of food becomes more important than his work. Point of view in the short story "Aṭ-Ṭājin Waṣala ..!" was the first-side. The irony in the short story "Aṭ-Ṭājin Waṣala ..!" is a profession as a judge who generally have a large salary and made him capable of what she wanted, it turned out that not being able to instantly buy copper tray at a great price. The theme of the short story "Aṭ-Ṭājin Waṣala ..!" coupled with character figures, title, plot, the title of a short story, and irony. The theme of the short story "Aṭ-Ṭājin Waṣala ..!" with regard to the character of the people who are not professionals because it is always fussing with food. The theme of the recent "Aṭ-Ṭājin Waṣala ..!" deals with the flow of the short story "Aṭ-Ṭājin Waṣala ..!" which shows the staple food needs fulfillment affair proved to exist at any stage. The theme of the recent "Aṭ-Ṭājin Waṣala ..!" with regard to the title of the short story "Aṭ-Ṭājin Waṣala ..!" translated into the Indonesian Language with "Pottery has arrived!" because the characters are always fussing with earthenware containing food. The theme of the recent "Aṭ-Ṭājin Waṣala ..!" related to "short story irony Aṭ-Ṭājin Waṣala ..!" which describes the lives of the people who made their living as a judge, but was unable to make ends meet anyway especially food Affairs.CHAPTER IVCONCLUSION Having analyzed the short stories "Ṭājin Aṭ-Waṣala ..!" there is katerkaitan between the theme with the character the characters, plot, themes with theme with the title, and theme with irony so the interconnections between the elements with one another the meaning intact.
