Bacaan Misa hari ini menggambarkan bagaimana Yesus, sepanjang hidup-Nya memberitakan Injil, tanpa kenal lelah, dan berbuat kebaikan di mana-mana. Perempuan-perempuan ini yang telah menerima kesembuhan dan perlindungan khusus dari Yesus, menghormati Dia dengan cara memberi sumbangan secara tetap untuk membantu Yesus dan murid-Nya. Pelayanan dan pengabdian mereka masih terus menjadi teladan bagi setiap perempuan yang percaya kepada-Nya.
Kristus merencanakan apa yang hendak dikerjakan-Nya dan melaksanakannya dengan teratur. Ia memperhatikan rangkaian atau urutan pekerjaan itu, sehingga akhir suatu pekerjaan yang baik merupakan awal pekerjaan baik berikutnya.
