Pada tahun 2012 saya menjalani aktivitas saya sebagai guru di daerah terpencil di Indonesia, Rote Ndao, NTT selama 1 tahun. Dalam tugasnya sebagai Pengajar Muda Indonesia Mengajar, saya memiliki tugas pokok yaitu menggerakan pelaku pendidikan di daerah untuk peduli dan terlibat aktif dalam kemajuan pendidikan di daerahnya. Tempat penugasan saya berada di kecamatan Rote Barat Laut, di SD Inpres Oeoko, Desa Modosinal
