Alasan pemerintah melakukan pelaran

Alasan pemerintah melakukan pelarangan alkohol yaitu mengacu kepada Keppres No 37/1997 dimana ada tiga golongan mniuman keras yakni A dengan kadar alokohol 0-5 persen. B kadar 5-20% dan C 20-55%. Secara sepihak Kemendagri ingin membatalkan perda miras karena dianggap melawan keputusan Presiden itu. Merespons kebijakan itu, timbul banyak penolakan dimana-mana karena dianggap sama dengan melegalkan miras.

Responding to that policy, arise much rejection everywhere because it is considered equal to legalize alcoholic beverages.
