ABSTRACT This thesis was written by Zaenuddin, NIM 3211113181, Department of Islamic studies, Faculty of Tarbiyah and science teacher training. State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Tulungagung, with the title "Ustad Effort in motivating Read Al Quran in TPQ Ma'hadul Ilmi Wal Amal Village Moyoketen District. Boyolangu Kab. Tulungagung "which are led by Dr. As'aril Muhajir, M.Ag.Key Words: Effort, Motivation, Read The Quran, TPQ This event will be based on research by the phenomenon it is today many kids learning to put forward a more general knowledge than on learning knowledge of Islam, so that Islamic education as if numbers will. They'd enjoy learning kursur courses in particular that there is no relation with religion. They might consider studying at Tpq indeed there is no national exam, so assume a diploma in Tpq can not used to search for work. Therefore, I am very interested in researching the Tpq Ma'hadul Ilmi Wal Amal is to dig into things that are deeper.The focus in this thesis research are (1) how can the efforts of ustadz in motivating read al quran in Tpq ma'hadul ilmi wal amal? (2) any thing that hampered and supporter of the ustadz in motivating read al quran in ma'hadul ilmi wal amal. As for that being a tujun of this research is to know the ustad in motivating learning read Al quran and restricting factors and any supporters in motivating read Al quran.In this study using qualitative descriptive method, in the collection of the data using the method of in-depth interviews, observation and documentation, using the analysis of the data, the presentation of the data reduction and withdrawal of the conclusion. The study also checked the validity of the data by the triangular, persistence, and extend the observations observations. For research phase using a pre phase field phase, implementation, data analysis phase and stage of completion.The research results reveal that the importance of motivation read Al quran to children TPQ Ma'hadul ilmi Wal Amal Moyoketen, Tulungagung is 1). Motivate students to read Al-quran reading spirit applied among others: give value, Islamic stories, hold a competition, create a fun learning atmosphere, giving assignments, give flattery2.) Factor inhibitor: lack of time teaching, the intelligentsia, the kids join the les/course, older people are less considerate. Factor endowments: a conducive environment, easy to recruit ustad, memadahi facilities and infrastructure, there is a mosque and the cottage.As Muslims Al qura should be studied carefully in order not to get caught up in the Valley of humiliation and the quran is a guideline of life for everyone. For that very need to motivate the students to become future generations the spirit of learning Al quran.
