Mereka beralasan bahwa jika siswa yang menyontek diberikan hukuman , itu akan membuat siswa frustasi dan akan berdampak pada psikologis siswa.mereka beralasan bahwa menyontek itu adalah hal yang lumrah dikalangan pelajar dikarenakan sistem pendidikan indonesia itu sendiri yang membuat siswa menjadikan menyontek itu sebagai suatu hal yang biasa . Tetapi pada dasarnya bagaimanapun alasan mereka, menyontek tetap adalah hal yang salah . Karena menyontek itu sebenarnya akan membunuh kepercayaan diri siswa itu sendiri , menjadi kebiasaan negatif sampai mereka tua nanti dan membuat siswa menjadi bergantung pada hal yang salah . Sejatinya menyontek memang sesuatu yang harus ditindak tegas oleh guru atau dosen karena dampak bahayanya bagi penerus masa depan bangsa .jika kita ingin melahirkan bangsa yang baik , jujur dan adil, maka harus ditanamkan secara dini penanaman nilai jujur pada siswa sejak dini.
