Dari hasil penelitian menunjukan nilai kalor pada perlakuan K1 (100% : 0%) adalah 6740,886 kal/gram sekaligus merupakan sebagai hasil nilai kalor terbaik. Sedangkan nilai kalor yang terendah adalah di perlakuan K6 (50% : 50%) yaitu 2506,889 Kal/gram. Penurunan jumlah kalor yang di peroleh di sebabkan oleh perlakuan komposisi pada briket biorang tersebut, dengan kata lain kualitas nilai kalor yang di dapat dipengaruhi dari jenis bahan – bahan penyusun dari bioarang tersebut dan salah satunya adalah akibat dari adanya kandungan air di dalamnya.
