Erupsi Kelud, 129 Penerbangan Dibatalkan


Surabaya, Jia Xiang – Sedikitnya 129 penerbangan dibatalkan akibat dampak erupsi Gunung Kelud di Kediri, Jawa Timur. Erupsi Gunung Kelud menyebabkan lima bandara di Pulau Jawa ditutup pada Jum'at (14/2/14).

Maskapai Garuda Indonesia menyatakan sebanyak 129 penerbangan di hari itu dibatalkan akibat penutupan Bandara Internasional Juanda di Surabaya, Bandara Abdul Rachman Saleh di Malang, Bandara Adi Sucipto di Yogyakarta, Bandara Adi Sumarmo di Solo, dan Bandara Ahmad Yani di Semarang.

Juru bicara PT Garuda Indonesia, Pujobroto mengatakan, dari 129 penerbangan itu, pembatalan sebanyak 123 penerbangan dari dan ke Surabaya, Malang, Yogyakarta, Solo dan Semarang. Lalu, enam penerbangan lain juga terpaksa dibatalkan akibat terhambatnya rotasi beberapa pesawat Garuda yang tertahan di bandara yang ditutup tersebut.

"Di Surabaya, ada 64 pembatalan penerbangan dari dan menuju Bandara Internasional Juanda. Kalau pembatalan penerbangan dari dan menuju Malang ada empat penerbangan," kata Pujobroto yang dikutip Antara, Minggu (16/2/14).

Penerbangan yang dibatalkan dari dan menuju Yogjakarta ada sebanyak 28 penerbangan, pembatalan penerbangan dari dan menuju Solo ada 10 penerbangan, serta pembatalan penerbangan dari dan menuju Semarang mencapai 17 penerbangan.

Sementara itu, enam penerbangan yang mengalami pembatalan akibat terhambatnya rotasi pesawat Garuda adalah rute Denpasar-Singapura (pp), Balikpapan-Singapura (pp), dan Makassar-Balikpapan (pp).[W1]
