Perkembangan Biologi sebagai sains

Perkembangan Biologi sebagai sains murni dan aplikasinya dalam teknologi yang semakin pesat mendorong upaya-upaya inovasi pemanfaatan hasil-hasil teknologi dalam pembelajaran Biologi. Sekarang ini, dalam proses pembelajaran Biologi tidak hanya dengan menggunakan media tunggal, tetapi lebih dituntut dalam menggunakan aplikasi multimedia. Minimnya alat peraga atau media pembelajaran yang dapat memvisualisasikan materi pelajaran Biologi materi Bioteknologi di MAN 1 Kuala Tungkal merupakan salah satu penyebab kurang efektifnya pemberian pelajaran Biologi materi Bioteknologi disekolah tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisa sistem yang sedang berjalan saat ini khususnya pada sistem pembelajaran mata pelajaran Biologi. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode pengumpulan data dan pengembangan sistem. Maka dari penelitian ini penulis mencoba merancang dan menerapkan suatu sistem baru berupa aplikasi media pembelajaran yang nantinya bisa dijadikan media alternatif dalam proses belajar dan membantu pihak sekolah dalam memberikan pelajaran yang bersangkutan dalam sarana pengadaan media pembelajaran pendidikan. Untuk kesempurnaan penelitian ini, sangat diharapkan kepada peneliti lain agar dapat mengembangkan hasil penelitian ini ke arah yang lebih baik lagi di masa yang akan datang.
