Abstrak
Sel adalah materi yang paling sederhana dari sebuah kehidupan, sel yang tersusun akan menjadi jaringan, jaringan yang tersusun akan menjadi organ dan berikutnya hingga menjadi sebuah komunitas. Sel dapat melakukan pembelahan sel, dengan tujuan untuk melestarikan keturunannya ataupun pertumbuhan dan perkembangan bahkan ketika sel mengalami kerusakan yang sering disebut juga regenerasi sel. Regenerasi sel adalah kemampuan memproduksi sel, jaringan atau bagian tubuh yang rusak, hilang atau mati dengan menjadikan kembali normal dan berfungsi seperti sediakala. Regenerasi sel dapat dilakukan dengan proses pembelahan mitosis yang dimulai dari interfase, profase, metafase, anafase dan metafase. Tetapi, ada pula faktor – faktor yang diperhatikan dalam regenerasi sel, karena kondisi tubuh mempengaruhi kinerja sel untuk regenerasi sel.
