The purpose of this study is to explain factors determining the post does bahaviour of small scale farmers in practicing the System of Rice Intensification (SRI) method. A method was conducted surveys on 125 small scale farmers who had adopted the SRI method in their rice cultivation at two regencies of South Sulawesi Province, indonesia. The binary logit model was used to predict the probability of post does behavior. The variables included in the study are benefits of the SRI, the ease of use the SRI, the skills and the knowledge and experience, entrepreneurship attitude, resources endowment, and social cultural. Our findings demonstrate that farmers who perceive benefits, ease of use, the skills and the knowledge and experience, attitude, and social entrepreneurship and culture support were less likely to stop practicing while farmers who perceive resources endowment were more likely to stop practicing of the SRI. This study offer significant information to policy-makers for reducing dis-does of the SRI method. This study contributes to the scientific discussion on post does behavior of the technology by enhancing our limited understanding about the factors determining the post does behavior of small scale farmers in developing countries.
