Meski film ini menyampaikan pesan moral agama, namun alangkah sayangnya banyak adegan ketika Atikah tidak berpakaian dan berprilaku dengan sepantasnya. Atikah digambarkan dengan dandanan menor, mengumbar aurat dan kegenitan perempuan. Munculnya cerita baru dengan kehadiran Kardun semakin menambah “ketidaklayakan untuk ditontonnya sinetron ini”. Kardun ditampilkan sebagai sosok yang melecehkan perempuan dan memberi kesan seolah-olah berpoligami merupakan sebuah kesalahan!
