Hati anak bagaikan suatu kertas yang belum tergores sedikitpun oleh tulisan atau gambar. Tetapi ia dapat menerima apa saja bentuk tulisan yang digoreskan, atau apa saja yang digambarkan di dalamnya. Bahkan, ia akan cenderung pada sesuatu yang diberikan kepadanya. Kecenderungan itu akhirnya akan menjadi kebiasaan dan terakhir menjadi kepercayaan (kepribadian). Oleh karena itu, jika anak sudah dibiasakan melakukan hal-hal baik sejak kecil, maka ia akan tumbuh dalam kebaikan itu, dan dampaknya ia akan selamat di dunia dan akherat.
