Randall "Memphis" Raines merupakan seorang pencuri mobil terbaik di Los Angeles. Namun dia menjadi pencuri bukan untuk mencari uang tetapi karena dia menyukai mobil dan suka akan tantangan. Sekarang dia telah berhenti dari profesi kriminalnya untuk menjalani kehidupan yang normal.
