Tanggal 2 Januari 2013, pagi hari, saya kembali ke Pontianak. Malamnya saya berangkat lagi ke Sekadau. Kali ini saya tidak bersepeda motor, tapi menggunakan jasa taksi yang dimiliki kedua saudara saya.
Selama di Sekadau, saya ke sebuah tempat yang bernama Batu Tinggi atau Batu Muncul pada tanggal 3 Januari 2013. Batu itu muncul di permukaan air sungai, terbentang hampir di sepanjang kedua tepi sungai yang lebarnya sekitar 60 hingga 70 meter. Batu ini hanya muncul saat kemarau tiba. “Hampir setiap tahun di sini ada korban, Mas,” kata salah seorang yang berkunjung di situ kepada saya. Menurut cerita beberapa orang, tempat ini dulu dianggap keramat. Ada beberapa orang yang pernah hanyut di sini.
