Identifikasi karakteristik hubungan antara setiap variabel berpengaruh terhadap tingkat perubahan pemanfaatan lahan oleh kegiatan komersial, dilakukan secara kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode Korelasi Rank Spearman. Berdasarkan angka korelasi Spearman tersebut, tingkat keterkaitan hubungan antara setiap variabel pengaruh dengan variabel terpengaruh secara keseluruhan maupun per jenis kegiatan dapat dilihat pada Tabel 2.9.
