Oleh sebab itu penulis membuat suatu alat yaitu alat pengatur intensitas suhu penyajian kopi berbasis mikrokontroler ATMega16. Alat ini dibuat dengan bertujuan memodifikasi heater listrik sehingga dapat membantu efisiensi tenaga listrik pada minuman kopi. Kelebihan dari alat ini adalah lampu indikator akan menyala dan heater akan bekerja dan memproses memanaskan air pada suhu yang disetting terlebih dahulu sesuai keinginan. Ketika suhu ruangan turun sampai pada suhu batas bawah maka heater akan bekerja dan mencapai suhu batas atas kemudian heater akan menonaktifkan secara otomatis dan di tampilkan pada layar LCD (Liquid Crystal Display). Perangkat keras yang digunakan terdiri dari mikrokontroler ATMega16, sensor suhu LM35, dan LCD. Sedangkan perangkat lunak yang digunakan adalah bahasa pemrogaman Assembler.
