Fenomena perubahan iklim yang sudah mengglobal saat ini sudah tidak dapat dihindari. Masyarakat hanya bisa melakukan mitigasi dan adaptasi bencana akibat perubahan iklim. Semua pihak yang berkontribusi ini tidak hanya perilaku perseorangan, perusahaan besar namun juga Usaha Menengah Kecil dan Mikro (UMKM) yang juga berkontribusi dalam perubahan iklim ini. Salah satu NGO- Yayasan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (YPB) melakukan pendampingan kepada 15 UMKM untuk menuliskan laporan keberlanjutan mereka untuk dikirimkan kepada Global Reporting Initiatives (GRI). Pembuatan laporan ini adalah bagian dari etika organisasi sebagai bentuk tanggung jawab publik atas apa yang dilakukan secara ekonomi, sosial dan lingkungan.
Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode wawancara mendalam dan partisipasi langsung sebagai pendamping penulisan laporan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan ada 2 level masalah, level NGO: Kebutuhan akan dana, logistik dan pendamping (coach) yang siap berkomitmen sangat dibutuhkan dalam penulisan laporan. Perlu bimbingan yang intensif saat penulisan laporan karena karakteristik UMKM yang berbeda. Di level UMKM kesulitan dalam menemukan indikator keberlanjutan, konflik internal serta ketidaktersediaan data pendukung untuk penulisan laporan menjadi salah satu kendala.

The phenomenon of climate change that are already globalizing currently unavoidable. The community can only do disaster mitigation and adaptation due to climate change. One of the NGO-Foundation for sustainable development (YPB) do the mentoring to 15 SMALL MEDIUM ENTERPRISES to write down their sustainability reports to send to the Global Reporting Initiatives (GRI). The creation of this report is part of the Organization's ethics as a form of public responsibility for what is done in the economic, social and environmental. Research done by qualitative approach with in-depth interviews and participation methods directly as a companion to the report writing. The research results indicate there are 2 levels of problems, the level of NGO: the need for funding, logistics and companion (coach) who are ready to commit desperately needed in the writing of the report. Need guidance report writing time-intensive due to the different characteristics of the SMEC. At the level of SMALL MEDIUM ENTERPRISES difficulty in finding indicators of sustainability, internal conflicts as well as supporting data unavailability for report writing becomes one of the constraints.
