Minat masyarakat terhadap pendidikan tinggi semakin besar. Akan tetapi karena tuntutan waktu maka banyak masyarakat yang mengikuti pendidikan kejuruan sehingga diharapkan dapat cepat langsung bekerja ataupun menjadi wirausahawan. Karena pekerjaan dan keinginan pribadi, mereka berupaya untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi akan tetapi waktu dan tempat menjadi kendala bagi mereka. Dengan pesatnya perkembangan teknologi internet maka pembelajaran dapat dilakukan dengan cara e-learning atau online learning.
