Pada hari kamis di kelas XII IPA U1 Mrs. Suniti memberikan kelas saya ulangan harian dengan materi Direct and Indirect speech and many, much, a lot of. Tetapi pada saat itu saya belum memahami secara keseluruhan materi yang akan dites. Menurut saya materi yang diteskan sangat sulit, padahal sebelumnya saya sudah mencoba untuk mempelajarinya. Pada saat soal ulangan dibagikan saya mendapatkan soal paket B. Mrs. Suniti memberitahukan cara menjawab yang benar dengan menulis soal pada halaman pertama lembar jawaban lalu menulis jawaban 1,2,3 pada lembar ke dua dan jawaban 4,5 pada lembar ke 3. Saya mencoba menjawab semampu yang saya bisa. Setelah semua soal dijawab, lembar jawaban dikumpul di meja guru.
Setelah beberapa hari, hasil ulangan dibagikan. Saya menunggu hasil ulangan saya dengan perasaan khawatir mendapat nilai jelek. Saya diberi lembar jawaban saya oleh seorang teman dan ternyata nilai ulangan saya masih jauh dari standar. Saya mendapatkan nilai 50 dan saya merasa sedih karena harus mengikuti remidi. Saya sedikit menyesal karena tidak belajar dengan baik sebelum mengikuti ulangan.

Pada akhirnya Mrs. Suniti memberikan tugas remidi untuk menambah nilai para siswa yang kurang. Tugas remidi yang diberikan adalah membuat sebuah makalah yang berjudul “Failed in the Second English Test” . Tugas itu harus diselesaikan dan dikumpul tepat waktu, yaitu pada Jumat, 27 Maret 2015, selesai ujian akhir sekolah. Tetapi saya kurang mengerti cara membuat makalah bahasa inggris yang baik, jadi saya bertanya pada teman yang lebih pintar dan saya dapat menyelesaikan tugas remidi saya, sehingga saya bisa memperbaiki nilai saya yang kurang.

Pada akhirnya tugas remidi saya selesai dengan bantuan beberapa teman dan juga mencari berbagai informasi dari internet serta menerjemahkan bahasa Indonesia ke bahasa inggris dengan kamus dan google terjemahan. Saya juga berterima kasih kepada Mrs. Suniti yang telah menjelaskan bagaimana cara membuat makalah yang benar. Saya merasa sedikit lega karena tugas remidi saya telah selesai. Saya berharap tugas remidi ini dapat memperbaiki nilai saya. Saya berjanji akan belajar lebih baik lagi jadi untuk ulangan selanjutnya saya tidak remidi lagi.
