Dulu ada seorang nelayan yang hidup

Dulu ada seorang nelayan yang hidup dengan istrinya disebuah pondok kecil tepi laut. Pekerjaan sehari hari adalah memancing.
pAda suatu hari ia pergi kelaut seperti biasa untuk memancing,tiba tiba ia melihat benda yang berkilau itu ialah seekor ikan. Nelayan itu berkata ikan ini bisa dimakan uktuk beberapa hari. Ikan itu berkata,aku bukanlah ikan yang nyata,tetapi aku adalah pangeran.
Setelah mendengar ucapan ikan tersebut nelayan itu merasa takjub.
Ikan itu berkata "tolong bebaskan aku,aku ingin hidup lagi"
Nelayan itu berkata "aku tidak akan menyakiti seekor ikan yang bisa bicara,pergilah,pergilah kemana asalmu"
Setelah melepas ikan tersebut,nelayan pun pulang kerumahnya dan menceritakan kejadian tersebut kepada istrinya.
