ABSTRAK

Berbicara mengenai peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia melalui proses pendidikan di sekolah, diperlukan langkah strategis oleh masing-masing lembaga pendidikan untuk memperbaiki kualitas guru, kedisiplinan siswa, perbaikan perangkat pembelajaran serta fasilitas pendidikan yang memadai yang dapat dimanfaatkan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Dunia pendidikan dewasa ini banyak diharapkan pada persoalan sangat kompleks yang perlu mendapatkan perhatian serius dari pada praktisi pendidikan. Salah satu persoalan yang dihadapi lembaga pendidikan di Indonesia adalah rendahnya tingkat kedisiplinan siswa. Berdasarkan analisa Departemen Pendidikan Nasional (2001:111) menyata bahwa : “Tingkat kedisiplinan siswa sekarang ini sangat rendah, baik dalam mentaati aturan, tata tertib sekolah maupun dalam mengikuti pelajaran, sehingga mengakibatkan lingkungan sekolah kurang kondusif”. Selain itu di SD Negeri 1 Cluring tercatat ada 92% yang tergolong dalam anak disiplin artinya tidak pernah melakukan pelanggaran yang fatal. Hal ini bisa diobservasi saat pelaksanaan upacara bendera pada hari senin. Hanya ada lebih kurang 9% anak yang sering terlambat. Meskipun telah ada bimbingan dari guru. Anak yang sering terlambat dapat dikatakan mempunyai motivasi yang rendah. Hal ini juga sangat mempengaruhi prestasi anak dalam pembelajaran. Khususnya kelas 6 ada 2% anak yang mempunyai nilai dibawah KBM. Hal ini pun juga sangat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor diantaranya karena disiplin anak, kurangnya motivasi anak sehingga sangat berpengaruh terhadap nilai anak. Peneltian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh kedisiplinan siswa dan motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi.

It is also strongly influenced by several factors as the discipline of children, lack of motivation of children so very influential towards the child.
