Setiap tahun para nelayan yang tergabung dalam Paguyuban Nelayan selalu mengadakan kegiatan ritual yang telah ditetapkan menjadi event tahunan oleh Pemerintah Kota Probolinggo yaitu kegiatan Petik Laut. Kegiatan ini melambangkan ungkapan rasa syukur kepada Tuhan YME atas rahmat dan karunia-Nya kepada seluruh umat. Selain itu kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk tetap melestarikan budaya gotong royong dan kebersamaan yang telah diwariskan secara turun-temurun dari para leluhur sehingga menjadi tradisi di daerah sepanjang pesisir pantai Kota Probolinggo.

Every year the fishermen who are members of Associations of fishermen have always held a ritual that has been set to become an annual event by the City Government finally reached the Quotation activity at sea. This activity represents the expression of gratitude to God the Almighty for mercy and his grace to all people. In addition this activity aims to keep preserving the mutual cultural and togetherness that has been passed down for generations of ancestors so that it becomes a tradition in the area along the coast of Probolinggo.

Every year the fishermen who are members of the Association of Fishermen always held a ritual activity that has been determined to be an annual event by the City of Probolinggo namely Sea Pick activity. This activity symbolizes gratitude to Almighty God for His mercy and grace to all people. Besides these activities aimed at preserving the culture of cooperation and togetherness that has been passed down through generations of ancestors to become a tradition in the coastal town of Probolinggo.
