Transparency and accountability in the Qur'an and its role in building good governance (Good Governance)Good governance in the Qur'an is manifested in the form of rah} mah and amana > well in order to achieve the good and happiness of living in the present and the future. In the Qur'an, good governance is based on the faith of a person so that the person feels secure in his life. When a person has faith, he will feel safe because he was doing what has become its obligations. Faith in the Qur'an are used to reveal two things. First, faith used to be the name for a set of rules that must be met and implemented by someone. Second, faith used the compliance to the soul of truth through authentication (> q} in bag), the alignment of the liver, speech and action. This paper will discuss about the concept of good governance in the Qur'an which is not only based on the good of the world, but also in the life to come (h > asanah} fi al-dunya wa al-a > > khira). This paper will focus on two essential elements of good governance, namely transparency and accountability. Transparency will be compared with the concept of ih} s > n that its position is above justice. IH} s > n is the situation where someone is doing good and doing good to others. As for accountability is closer to the term taqwa >. Taqwa > is the responsibility of a person in the discharge of that order and will avoid any penalties when the rules are not enforced. This paper will also discuss the role of transparency and accountability in building good governance. The principles of transparency and accountability of public participation guarantee (public participation partnerships) and control society (social control) that opens so that various forms of distortion can be supervised and controlled. Finally, good governance in respect of all walks of life together, whether officials, businessmen and common people so that one another could mutually supervise and provide input.
