Sang Putri sangat takut dan menyesal telah menikah dengan Loro Manek tanpa sepengetahuan orangtua dan kakaknya. la hanya bisa pasrah untuk menerima hukuman dari kakaknya. Bete Dou turun dari rumahnya dengan meniti anak tangga satu per satu sambil mendendangkan lagu derita.
Ketika tiba di anak tangga pertama, ia pun Iangsung mendapat hukuman dari kakaknya. Tubuhnya tersungkur ke tanah dan meninggal seketika. Suasana tiba-tiba menjadi hening dan sepi.
Sementara itu di Kerajaan Loro, Mane Loro yang sedang tertidur di samping ayahnya, tiba-tiba tersentak dari tidurnya. la Iangsung teringat istrinya. Mane Loro segera terbang melesat menuju ke rumah istrinya. Namun, kedatangannya sudah terlambat. la mendapati istrinya sudah tidak bernyawa lagi. Dengan kesaktiannya, ia menyambar tubuh istrinya yang tergelatak di tanah, kemudian terbang menuju ke istananya. Manek Bot terperangah menyaksikan peristiwa tersebut.
Sesampainya di istana, Mane Loro segera mengobati istrinya. Dengan kesaktiannya dan atas kehendak Tuhan yang Mahakuasa, Putri Bete Dou pun hidup kembali.
Kemudian mereka menyadari kesalahan mereka karena tidak meminta restu dari orang tua masing-masing, mereka pun meminta restu pada orang tua Manek Loro dan direstuinya.
Keesokannya, Mane Loro dan istrinya berangkat ke istana Wefulan untuk menemui orang tua Bete Dou. Setibanya di istana Wefulan mereka disambut raja dan permaisuri Kerajaan Wefulan.
Saat berada di hadapan Raja Wefulan, Putri Bete Dou bersama Mare Loro segera bersujud memohon ampun atas kesalahan yang telah mereka perbuat selama ini.
“Maafkan Dinda wahai Ayahanda dan lbunda,” ucap sang putri penuh penyesalan, “Restuilah pernikahanku dengan Mane Loro,” pintanya lagi. Melihat kesungguhan dan ketulusan cinta Bete Dou dan Mane Loro, akhirnya sang Raja, permaisuri, dan Mane Bot memaafkan dan merestui pernikahan mereka. Akhirnya sejak itu, Mane Loro dan Bete Dou hidup berbahagia, selamanya.
