Tujuan Memasang Infus:

Prosedur Kerja:
1. Melakukan verifikasi program pengobatan
2. Mencuci tangan
3. Menjelaskan tujuan dan prosedur tindakan pada keluarga/pasien
4. Mengecek tanggal kadaluarsa: infus, selang infus, catheter vena.
5. Menusuk saluran infus dengan benar ( jangan diputar ).
6. Menggantung cairan infus dan mengisi tabung reservoar sebanyak duapertiga bagian /sebatas tanda hingga tidak ada udara dalam selang.
7. Atur posisi pasien, pasang pengalas, selanjutnya pasang toniquet 5cm dari area insersi.

Lakukan tindakan aseptik dengan kapas alkohol 70% dan biarkan selama 15-20 detik
Pertahankan vena pada posisi stabil dengan menekan dan menarik bagian distal vena yang akan diinsersi dengan ibu jari

8. Menusuk vena dengan sudut 30 derajat dan lubang jarum menghadap ke atas
9. Setelah dipastikan jarum masuk, turunkan posisi jarum 20 derajat dan tarik mandrin 0,5 cm, masukan catether secara perlahan.

Lakukan teknik V saat melepas mandrin dengan menekan port dan vena lalu segera sambungkan selang infus dengan catheter.
