ABSTRAK
Masalah penyediaan air bersih saat ini menjadi permasalahan yang sangat serius. Kebutuhan air bersih tiap tahun mengalami peningkatan sedangkan ketersediaan air bersih semakin terbatas, dikarenakan semakin sempitnya daerah resapan, banyaknya pembangunan yang tidak memperhatikan keseimbangan alam, dan eksploitasi sumber air baku yang tidak memperhatikan kelestarian sumber air. Agar tidak terjadi kekurangan air, perlu menjaga dan melestarikan sumber air yang ada, efesiensi dalam penggunaan air serta pencarian alternative sumber baru.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis ketersediaan air bersih di instalansi pengolahan air untuk menghadapi kebutuhan masyarakat yang tinggi terhadap air bersih.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kajian teoretis yang mengutip dari sumber sumber hasil penelitian orang lain yang berada di internet maupun di buku dan lainnya
Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa cara agar sumber air dapat di manfaatkan secara berkelanjutan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air bersih, diperlukan tindakan pengotimalisasian pada sumber air dengan cara memperbaiki sarana penunjang yang ada pada sumber air tersebut.

The problem of water supply is now becoming a very serious problem. The need of clean water each year has increased, while the more limited availability of clean water, due to the limited recharge area, many not pay attention to the balance of nature, and the exploitation of raw water sources that are not sustainability of water resources. To avoid water shortages, it is necessary to maintain and preserve existing water sources, efficiency in water use and the search for alternative new sources.
