Energi adalah kemampuan untuk melak

Energi adalah kemampuan untuk melakukan usaha. Energi dapat berubah dari suatu bentuk ke bentuk lainnya. Contoh salah satu bentuk energi adalah Panas. Manusia sangat membutuhkan panas seperti memasak nasi, menjemur pakaian, atau menyetrika pakaian. Perpindahan energi panas dapat terjadi di benda padat, cair maupun gas. Perpindahan panas dapat terjadi karena adanya perbedaan suhu.
Panas atau sering disebut dengan kalor adalah salah satu bentuk energi. Benda-benda menjadi panas karena diberi energi. Perpindahan energi panas terjadi dari benda bersuhu tinggi ke benda bersuhu rendah. Satuan energi panas sama dengan satuan energi yang lain yaitu joule (j), atau satuan yang lain yang sering digunakan adalah kalori (kal).
