Artikel ini didasarkan pada studi kasus kualitatif rinci (Tulung, 2008) dari interaksi teman sebaya dan bicara guru non-pribumi dalam kelas EFL selama pelaksanaan tugas komunikatif dengan siswa pra-medis Indonesia.Ternyata tugas bekerja secara efektif baik dalam pengaturan ini. Namun, ini Artikel hanya berfokus pada wacana lisan yang dihasilkan melalui interaksi rekan sambil menyelesaikan tugas, terutama dari perspektif bahasa berapa banyak dihasilkan selama interaksi rekan.
