Sukabumi, Jia Xiang –Komando Distrik Militer (Kodim) 0607 Sukabumi, Jawa Barat, tidak segan memecat anggotanya yang terbukti ikut dalam politik praktis pada Pemilu 2014.

Kasdim Kodim 0607 Sukabumi, Mayor Eka Agusniadi menegaskan bahwa pihak Kodim Sukabumi berkomitmen agar anggota TNI netral pada Pemilu 2014.

“Tugas kami mengamankan pelaksanaan Pemilu agar berlangsung kondusif dan tidak ada gangguan keamanan dan ketertiban," kata Eka yang dikutip Antara, Jumat (21/2/14).

Menurut dia, sesuai hasil rapat pimpinan TNI beberapa waktu lalu ada empat keputusan yang salah satunya TNI berkomitmen akan netral, kemudian poin-poin lainnya adalah akan membantu dalam pengamanan selama pelaksanaan pileg mulai dari saat ini sampai penetapan hasil.

TNI juga akan melakukan pemantauan baik di tempat pemungutan suara maupun di lokasi-lokasi rawan terjadi konflik atau gangguan keamanan sesuai wilayah hukumnya masing-masing dan berkoordinasi dengan seluruh elemen masyarakat untuk bersama-sama menyukseskan Pemilu 2014.[U1]
