The Java deer (Rusa timorensis) is one of the four species of deer which belongs to Indonesia which is widespread across the country. Deer deer is native to Java, Indonesia they can live in a hot/dry climates and have a high power of adaptation. This research aims to know the frequency of the breath of the Java Deer Valley at Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta. The material used in this research is the Java Deer Valley UGM 10 tail deer (Rusa timorensis) Java consists of 5 tail stag deer tail and 5 females. Data about the frequency of breath is obtained with the toraco see movement for 1 minute and repeated 5 times on each tail/individual for 8 days and is carried out in the morning at 08.00-09.00, and the afternoon at 12.00-14.00. Breath frequency data of the Java deer (Rusa timorensis) on the morning and afternoon were analyzed using paired analysis of the simple test.
