Fasilitas pejalan kaki merupakan suatu bagian vital bagi pejalan kaki guna menunjang keselamatan, keamanan dan kenyaman sebagai upaya peningkatan keselamatan jalan. Pejalan kaki adalah kelompok pengguna jalan yang teramat rentan terhadap fatalitas kecelakaan lalulintas. Fasilitas pejalan kaki yang kurang memadai akan sangat berdampak pada keselamatan pejalan kaki. Penelitian ini akan membahas tentang fasilitas pejalan kaki yang seharusnya digunakan pada kawasan CBD (Central Business District) di ruas jalan Ahmad Yani Kabupaten Madiun dengan mempertimbangkan arus pejalan kaki, tata guna lahan dan konflik lalulintas . Dari hasil penelitian dijelaskan bahwa arus pejalan kaki pada kawasan ini memiliki nilai PV2 > 108 yaitu 1 x 109. Sedangkan konflik lalulintas antara pejalan kaki dengan kendaraan terjadi pada jam sibuk pagi dengan presentase tingkat serius konflik 84%, jam sibuk siang dengan presentase tingkat serius konflik 75%, dan jam sore dengan presentase tingkat serius konflik 78%. Berdasarkan perhitungan PV2 dan tingkat keseriusan konflik dapat disimpulkan bahwa penangan yang tepat untuk penyediaan fasilitas pejalan kaki pada kawasan tersebut adalah dengan pemasangan pelican crossing.

Pedestrian facilities is a vital part for pedestrians to support safety, security and comfort in an effort to increase the safety of the street. Pedestrians are a group of road users who are extremely susceptible to traffic accident fatality. Pedestrian facilities are inadequate will greatly impact on the safety of pedestrians. This research will discuss about pedestrian facilities that are supposed to be used on the area of the CBD (Central Business District) in Madiun Regency, Ahmad Yani streets taking into account pedestrian flows, land use and traffic conflict. From the results of the study explained that the pedestrian flow on this area has a value of PV2 > 108 i.e. 1 x 109. While the traffic conflict between pedestrians with vehicles took place during rush hour in the morning with a percentage of the level of serious conflict 84%, rush hour lunch with a serious conflict level percentage of 75%, and the hours of the afternoon with a percentage level of serious conflicts of 78%. Based on the calculation of the level of seriousness and PV2 conflict can be concluded that the appropriate handler for the provision of pedestrian facilities in the region is mounting with the pelican crossing.Keywords: flow of pedestrians, traffic conflicts, pedestrian facilities.
