4. Seleksi Akademik Calon Kepala Sekolah/Madrasah
Seleksi akademik dilakukan untuk mengungkapkan potensi kepemimpinan calon kepala sekolah/ madrasah melalui rekomendasi dari kepala sekolah dan pengawas sekolahnya, penilaian kinerja guru, penilana potensi kepemimpinan (PPK), dan penulisan makalah kepemimpinan, sebagai rangkaian program rekruitmen calon kepala sekolah/ madrasah.
Tujuan Seleksi Akademik adalah :
a. Mendapatkan calon kepala sekolah/madrasah yang memiliki rekomendasi profesional tentang penguasaan lima kompetensi kepala sekolah/madrasah dan pengembangan keprofesiannya dari kepala sekolah/madrasah dan pengawas sekolah/madrasah;
b. Mendapatkan calon kepala sekolah/ madrasah yang memiliki potensi kepemimpinan yang baik;
c. Menilai pengetahuan, wawasan, gambaran gaya / corak / karakteristik kepemimpinan, pengalaman kepemimpinan yang pernah dilakukan dan dimiliki oleh para calon kepala sekolah/madrasah.
Sebelum dilaksanakan seleksi akademik maka, kegiatan yang harus diikuti oleh guru sebagai calon kepala sekolah/madrasah adalah ( a) pengusulan calon oleh kepala sekolah dan atau pengawas, (b) seleksi administrasi yang dijelaskan sebagai berikut:
a. Pengusulan Calon
Pengusulan guru sebagai calon kepala sekolah/madrasah dilakukan melalui langkah- langkah pengumuman, identitas guru potensional, penyiapan berkas usulan, dan pengajuan usulan calon kepala sekolah. Guru potensial yang memenuhi persyaratan dapat diusulkan kepada dinas pendidikan / kantor kementerian agama oleh kepala sekolah / madrasah atau bersama-sama dengan pengawas.
b. Seleksi Administrasi
Seleksi administrasi dilakukan melalui penilaian kelengkapan dokumen guru sebagai calon kepala sekolah/madrasah yang dikeluarkan oleh pihak berwenang sebagai bukti bahwa calon kepala sekolah/madrasah bersangkutan telah memenuhi persyaratan yang telah ditentukan. Seleksi administratif dilakukan oleh Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten / Kota atau Kantor Wilayah Kementerian Agama / Kantor Kementerian Agama Kabupaten / Kota melalui panitia seleksi yang di tunjuk dan ditetapkan yang kemudian dilakukan seleksi akademik.

Proposing CandidatesIn proposing the teacher as a candidate for head of school/madrasa is done through measures announcement, the identity of the teacher potensional, file preparation and submission of proposals, proposal of prospective headmaster. Potential teachers who meet the requirements can be proposed to the Department of Education/Office of the Ministry of religion by the head of school/madrasa or together with the Trustees.b. Selection of the AdministrationSelection of Administration is done through an assessment of the completeness of the documents as a potential head teachers of schools/madrasah issued by authorities as proof that the prospective headmaster/madrassa in question has complied with the requirements that have been determined. Administrative selection done by district/city Education Office or the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion/Religious Ministry Office Kabupaten/Kota through a selection Committee at the point and the set then do academic selection.

4. Selection of Candidates Academic School / Madrasah Principals

Before carried out academic selection then, the activities to be followed by the teacher as a candidate for the head of school / madrasah is (a) nomination of candidate by the principal or supervisor, (b) the selection and administration are described as follows:
a. Candidate nomination
nomination as a candidate for the head teacher of the school / madrasah done through measures announcement, potensional teacher identity, file preparation proposal, and the proposal of candidates for the principal. Potential teachers who meet the requirements can be proposed to education departments / ministries of religion by the head of school / madrasah or together with the supervisor.
B. Administration Selection
Selection is done through assessment administration documents as a candidate for the head teacher of the school / madrasah issued by the authorities as evidence that the prospective principals / madrasah has fulfilled the requirements determined. Selection is done by the Department of Education Administrative District / Municipal or Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs / Office of Religious Affairs Regency / City by the selection committee are designated and specified which are then carried out academic selection.
