Sementara itu di bukit Napo, Raja Balinapa yang sebetulnya ayahanda I Manyambungi telah mati karena diserang oleh Raja Lego yang sakti. Raja ini sangat berkuasa dan kejam. Ia suka menyembelih orang dan mengganggu rakyat yang berada di negeri sekitarnya. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, para raja bawahan dan sekitarnya mulai prihatin dan mengadakan pertemuan. Karena sudah banyak orang yang dibunuh dan tidak ada yang bisa menekan si Raja Lego yang sakti tapi kejam tersebut.

Salah seorang diantaranya berkata, ”Ada berita baik, di Gowa ada seorang panglima perang yang sangat sakti, barangkali kita dapat minta tolong padanya untuk melawan Raja Lego.”

Kemudian diutuslah seseorang ke Gowa untuk menemui panglima I Manyambungi. Akan tetapi I Manyambungi menolak dan berkata, “Saya akan turut ke Balanipa membantu kalian jika Puang Mosso yang datang menjemputku. Janji saya ini tidak boleh didengar oleh Raja Gowa, karena beliau melarangku meninggalkan negeri ini.”
