Bate Salapanga dan Paccallaya sanga

Bate Salapanga dan Paccallaya sangatlah sedih lantaran diantara mereka tidak ada yang bersedia menjadi Kepala Pemerintahan (Raja). Namun kemasygulan hati mereka telah ditolong oleh Dewata dengan kehadiran “Tumanurunga” Putri Ratu Karaeng Bainea yang datang dengan tiba-tiba dan penuh teka-teki. Sejarah tidak pernah bercerita banyak tentang asal-usulnya, hanya dikatakan bahwa Tumanurunga turun dari kayangan (langit )bersama Tokenna (kalung emas), Panne Jawana (piring Jawanya) serta rumahnya yang terdiri dari lima petak (bilik) didekat Taipa Jombe-Jombea. Setelah berunding maka sepakatlah Bate salapanga dan Paccallaya untuk mengangkat pemimpin yang dianggap Tumanurunga itu sebagai Raja (Somba) pertama di Gowa.
